Well anyone can be an entrepreneur or be called one. But to be successful at it, is a different whole lot of matter. To get to that point, you have to start thinking like an entrepreneur first … a successful entrepreneur to be exact. Entrepreneurs are a dime and a dozen out there, what makes the successful unique from the rest is that studies have shown that they dream a lot. Yes it many sound childish, but such visuals in your head reaffirms the thoughts that will lead to realization. For me I always dream to be financially independent. That dream was realized soon enough in my life as I took matters into my hand. I guess my success is my attitude to never ever give up on my dreams. I’m pretty relentless in implementing the least effort to gain maximum work done. Also I learned a great deal learning from mistakes. Entrepreneurs thinking has a sort of a structure to it in fact. First have a vision. Imagine what kind of life and wealth you’re aiming for. The house, the car, the holidays. Think of it being realized already and that realization will make you think and act like a real entrepreneur. Also I find mixing with the same group of people who thinks the same as I do help me propel in my work even more. It’s who you hang out with matters. Recall school time. You tend to slack if your other friends slack in school right. I find that most entrepreneurs who gave up didn’t take any action at all. That first step to get going. They usually plan and plan and plan even further. But fall flat once their plans has ‘cracks’ in it. It doesn’t matter if the plan ain’t perfect, as long the action gets done, well something is accomplished for you to build on. Of course from all that dreaming I mentioned earlier, you still have to set realistic goals. Why sell yourself short by saying you could do sales in huge amount when you can’t. Start small and keep on growing. The other action you must implement, is selling the right product. There must be a ‘need’ for your product. If you find that people are looking for you rather than you looking for them to sell it, then you got the product spot-on. It’s all about sales. I also have a short and long term goals. I have a 1, 3 and 6 months goal. If I fall short of my goal, I would work on the issues and if there’s considerable success in my goals, then I would tweak on it for further success. There’s plenty of self-made multi millionaires out there and I’m working my ass off to be one of them soon. The Internet is the future, stick to this industry and you shall reap your rewards if you follow any of the advise above. Good Luck!
