When are you going to start living life at your fullest potential? Are you an individual that sees an opportunity and takes immediately action, or do you “wait for the right time” to get started? Now is the right time in your life to make a fortune. Now is the right time to have the best time of your life. Now is the right time to start your business and to experience life at its fullest. Now is the time to take risks. Have you ever had a business idea and thought to yourself, I will make a killing doing this. So you go to the drawing boards one night and create a perfect business plan. You are pumped and have never felt so certain about an idea in your life. You finish your plan in the wee hours of the morning and finally get to bed. You get out of bed the next morning and what happens? Reality hits and you think, uh, that was just a wild idea, I need to get real and work for a living like everyone else. What was I thinking? And you laugh at yourself. If you feel this way at times, what is your problem? There could be several things that are holding you back, but rest assure it’s just you putting you life on hold; waiting for some life changing event to occur before you get started. Many people fear failure, they are afraid of what other people will think of them if or when they fail. The reality of anyone’s success is they have failed much more than they have succeeded. It is how they deal with failure that makes them unique. Failures will happen, its’ part of being an entrepreneur. It’s part of success. It’s part of life. If you want to succeed you have to learn to deal with failure. Don’t let the failure of your last venture effect the success of your next. I worked for a very successful company as a sales trainer. I learned that the people that failed the most made the most money. How does that work? The salesman in that organization that had it in their minds that “now is the right time” in my life to be successful; “now is the time” to take action and make a lot of money. Those people took action and learned how to deal with failure. They knew that “no” just led to more yeses in the end. They experienced more failure and had more people tell them “no” because they simply made more dials and spent more time with their potential clients on the phone. The same is to be said with entrepreneurship. It isn’t easy. Nothing of value in your life has come easy or without sacrifice. There are failures and there will be many more. In order to live life to the fullest you have to “make it the right time” in your life to start your business and go after your goals and dreams. I talk to many people everyday who want to start businesses; in fact, many of them have been in the thinking part of starting a business for many years. When I have a client with that particular issue, I often ask them “How much has it cost you not to have started your business 5 years ago”? Their responses vary, but many of them realize how much time and potential money they have lost just thinking about taking action. If you think you don’t have the time to start a business or chase your dreams, realize there is never a convenient time in your life to start a business venture. You have to make it the right time. You have to take a look at your life now and ask yourself if you are okay living the life you are currently living 10 years from now. Conclusion: Don’t be a wannabee entrepreneur.
