Adrian Giles sold his startup HitWise, an internet monitor which collects data directly from ISP networks, to Experian last year for a reported $250 million. Inspiring right … and with all that money, what does entrepreneur Adrian Giles is doing now? Well he’s becoming and reinventing himself as an angel investor these days. His job these days are meeting various different companies daily who needs funding. He says its “diversity” and “a different excitement to the excitement” he had at Hitwise. The previous Entrepreneur of the Year is an example to many. He has a rag-to-riches story where being born in a pub, he spent his youth creating IT systems and learning management skills. It is from his formative years and working his way up the ranks, that he learns business at a young age. Adrian Giles, “we just had this entrepreneurial urge. Obviously it had to have something to do with the Internet.”
