Vivek Wadhwa founded the software company back in 1997, before the dot-com bubble that is. After the bubble burst, the once high-flying technology company began to run into trouble which finally saw Wadhwa being removed as chief executive in 2003. Now the company is being sold to Britain’s Micro Focus International. The company was not spared the global economic crunch and not having enough capital markets, thus the sale. Current Relativity CEO Stephen Maysonave will not stay on for the merger. Such as sad end for such a promising startup company.
