Are Entrepreneur Dreamers?

I’ve been called many things in life and one of them is being a dreamer. These are the same group of people who are stuck in their dead-end jobs hating it, while I’m out here doing what I love and getting paid for it.

I could flash to them what I’ve earned through my earnings and profit, but what’s the point. I just ignore such taunts and focus on more important things in life. No point get into a heated argument, unless there’s money given. Hehe, hey I’m a capitalist.

So what transition has made me into a ’successful’ entrepreneur you might ask. Well there’s a few rule to it you must adhere to.

Dream

Yes we are dreamers but we entrepreneurs are also realist. Keep aiming for that goal and never stop dreaming. Take a risk and try to be different. That’s what sorts the rich from the poor. The most you’ll fail, but take it as a learning experience.

Cash Flow

I mentioned being a realist earlier. Well here it is. You must have a plan for your investments and always having a reserve to dip into whenever, is essential. We never know the unforeseen factors that might crop up.

To get your funds, you must convince your investors that you’ve the ability for the product you’re selling to a large market. A good business plan is as good as how realistic you are with the current trends, figures and goals.

Be Versatile

Being an entrepreneur means you need to juggle plenty of jobs. But importantly you’re the leader. So show leadership skills and be people-oriented. Do plenty of networking which will help you tremendously in your job.

Faith

Before I start to sell my product or even present my investors of the product, you should have faith in your very own product. Why try to bullshit through it, you’ll never be convincing in your sales.

Rejection

Every entrepreneur need to deal with rejection often. If you’re turned down often and from that you quit, then you’re no entrepreneur. A recent study says that at every 10 rejection or business failing, three will flourish or the investors saying yes

To be a successful entrepreneur, it takes a lot of hardwork and business smart. So get your game hat on and keep on going at it!
